In a strong move for women‟s empowerment, the Assam Mahila Congress organized a significant “Nari Nyay Andolan” in Guwahati today. The event was led by Assam Mahila Congress State President Smt. Meera Bortakur Goswami and attended by Assam PCC President Shri Bhupen Borah, along with other officials and a large gathering of workers. The women of Assam, affected by rising inflation and insecurity, voiced their dissent against the anti people policies of the BJP government, calling for urgent reforms.
