As per the instructions of the National President of Mahila Congress, Ms. Alka Lamba, the Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress workers, under the leadership of President Smt. Beena Naik organized a Nari Nyay Andolan. The protest addressed increasing crimes against women, rising inflation, and the non-implementation of the women‟s reservation law. During this, demands were also raised for strict action against the culprits of the inhuman incident that happened with the doctor in Kolkata. Through the Nari Nyay Andolan, the Mahila Congress is raising its voice for women‟s rights and empowerment across the country.
