The Chhattisgarh Mahila Congress, under the leadership of State President and Rajya Sabha MP Smt. Phoolo Devi Netam, organized a “Nari Nyay Andolan” and demonstrated outside the Chief Minister’s residence to protest against the increasing cases of rape, crimes against women, and poor law and order in Chhattisgarh. During the protest, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Leader of the Opposition in the Chhattisgarh Assembly Dr. Charandas Mahant, State Congress Committee President Deepak Baij, along with senior leaders and a large number of Congress workers, were present.
