Mahila Congress workers from Jorhat, Shivsagar, Golaghat, and Majuli in Assam carried out a joint “Nari Nyay Andolan.” On this occasion, Women Congress officials, including Assam Mahila Congress State President Smt. Meera Borthakur Goswami, and a large number of women activists were present. The women of the state, troubled by inflation and insecurity in Assam, raised their voices against the anti-people policies of the BJP government with a strong slogan.
