We are honored to welcome esteemed guests from around the world to the Progressive Alliance Gender Equality Working Group in Istanbul. AIMC President Ms. Alka Lamba presented the Bharat Jodo Yatra book, which highlights our journey toward gender equality. She also bestowed a symbolic Chunni upon Sofia Amloh, Member of Parliament for the Social Democratic Party of Sweden; Madeline Haousa, Chairperson of the Social Democratic Front Women – Cameroon; Marie Chris, Coordinator of the Progressive Alliance; and Kasthuri Patto, Deputy Secretary of the International Affairs Department for the Democratic Action Party, Malaysia. We take pride in bringing our culture to the international forum, strengthening our commitment to gender equality and global solidarity.
